And now on to the ep recap by

First, Samuel watches Mohinder’s tape, segueing through a variety of emotions. Lydia insists to Hiro that Samuel’s keeping Charlie for the good of the family, but Hiro’s not buying the “family” stuff. One over-the-shoulder shot later(arm tattoo alert!), Edgar’s figured out that if Samuel’s got a time traveler again, why doesn’t he bring Joseph back?

May I just say “Lydia, what the heck??! Changing in front of Hiro? There’s a difference between portraying that she’s trying to seduce him and letting the viewers see, once again, that she’s got a spine. Meanwhile, Edgar in a t-shirt. *sulks* Anyway…
Lydia and Hiro time-travel back to find Mohinder, who they think killed Joseph. Samuel and Joseph go off to have a serious-sounding talk. Back in the present, Samuel is unsettled by Lydia sneaking off somewhere with Hiro .

“Eight weeks ago” in the field outside the carnival, Samuel confronts Joseph about what he heard when he listened in on Mohinder and Joseph. Joseph tells that Samuel could destroy cities, maybe the world, and that he’s always “had to be controlled.” Joseph says that he told “a man from the government” (a.k.a. the Company?) to come and incarcerate Samuel, and that he still loves Samuel but needs him to understand that he must not use his world-shaking power for evil. Samuel throws a rock through Joseph’s throat and cries as he holds his dying brother. Lydia is convinced that she needs to “stand up to” Samuel, and tells Edgar about the murder.

At Thanksgiving dinner, Samuel unexpectedly says that the murderer is at the table, and Edgar accuses Samuel of being that person. Samuel accuses right back, and would have shot a rock at Edgar had Hiro not stopped time and saved him. Mr Park gets more lines than in most films he’s in; Edgar’s willing to kill Samuel right back, but Hiro insists that Samuel is still needed to find Charlie. (One has got to be brave to tell that man “This is not the time for revenge,” ! XD) Edgar runs off, and Samuel uses that as evidence of his guilt. Lydia looks appalled, but stays seated. (Hmm….)

To wrap it all up, Claire and Gretchen are headed to the carnival, and Samuel’s pet memory-wiper deletes Hiro’s recent memories, leaving him with…Star Trek references?

Now I’m eager to see where Edgar ends up. Happy Thanksgiving to the Americans out there! What are you thankful for? ("Moar Edgar" is an appropriate response!)
